Renowned for its spectacular 80 foot limestone cliffs, first class hiking trails, and picturesque stone mill (now a hotel, restaurant and spa), Elora, Ont., has a great deal to offer retirees who are looking for a quieter pace, but also want to be surrounded by a thriving arts community.
Thank-you to the retirees who so generously helped to bring their lovely town to life in my mind. I hope that one day, I will be able to visit and sample the wares of local food producers at the farmer’s market, or witness the skill of sculptors, painters, potters, fabric artists, and jewellers on the Elora Fergus Studio Tour. I’m sure you’ll feel the same after reading, “Finding a Home in Elora, Ont.”
